  Now entering its 35th season, the Barracker returns for the first time in 2024 to give the football and netball patrons of the BLG an dynamic insight into our local Saturday afternoon winter passions. We celebrate the milestone game of Jake Asher and there is also a story on the five BLG players who have made the SA Under 18s squad for the National Championships, along with recognized Ryan Lane-Ellis for his brilliant round three performance at Thebarton Oval for the Doggies. Check out Jez McLennan's Fos Williams medal winning performance for the SANFL team. Miyu Endersby also stars for the state Under 16s girls, while there is all the ins and outs in BLG senior one netball. Another brilliant season has arrived.
